Car polishing in Baku: agree the result
Describe what you want to change
Expand ‘polish the car’ with the task: light swirl marks, one scratch, general dullness or a panel stain? Show specific areas on a clean car. The same service wording can imply different materials and sequences.
Do not choose scope only by ‘one stage’ or ‘full polish’. Ask what the provider plans and what result is reasonable for the coating’s condition. To distinguish preparation from ordinary cleaning, read the detailing and washing comparison.
Start with history and inspection
Report repainted panels, earlier corrections, film and protective products. Say if the history is unknown. Ask how coating condition will be assessed and whether a measuring instrument applies to the selected panels. One number without understanding the surface and previous work cannot replace inspection.
Matte coatings and film need their own instructions. Hyundai, for example, prohibits ordinary polishing for the matte finish described in its manual. Check your own car’s documentation instead of applying a glossy car’s method. The PPF washing guide covers film separately.
Compare a test area and limits
Ask to see a small treated area in suitable light before agreeing to the whole body. A visible result is easier to discuss than improvement percentages without an assessment method. Ask what comes from cleaning, abrasive treatment or a product’s temporary visual effect.
Products have different purposes. Meguiar’s describes M02 Fine-Cut Cleaner as mildly abrasive for gloss finishes, while Autoglym notes protective wax in Super Resin Polish. These are specific product features, not one polishing standard. Ask which products will be used and why they suit your coating.
Do not demand removal of every mark
Deep damage, chips and surface marks are not automatically the same task. Ask the specialist to show defects that will remain and explain limits. If another repair is proposed, discuss it separately. Wanting a perfectly even reflection does not automatically mean consenting to more intensive correction.
Agree preparation too: contaminant removal, protection of adjacent plastic and checks between stages. Autoglym Super Resin Polish instructions, for example, require washed, dried bodywork and exclude unpainted plastic and rubber. The method must fit the product and car manufacturer’s permissions.
Check the result and discuss future care
At collection, inspect agreed areas from several light directions. Compare the test area, treated panels and previously recorded defects. Check for product residue near emblems, joints and adjacent trim. Ask about anything changed from the initial inspection before agreeing to more treatment.
Ask whether protection was applied, exactly what it is and what limits apply before the next wash. Polishing and choosing protection are separate discussions; the wax and ceramic comparison explains their purposes. For Baku booking, prepare problem-area photos and trim details to discuss suitable services specifically.
