This Privacy Policy explains what data is collected via the Yumo and Yumo Partner applications, and how such data is used and protected.
By using the Yumo applications and the yumo.az website, you confirm that you have read this Policy and agree to its terms.

2. Types of data we collect
We only collect data that is necessary for the operation and improvement of the Service.
2.1. Data of Yumo users (clients)
- First name (without surname);
- Phone number;
- Geolocation (starting point of the route to the partner — used only after order or booking confirmation to calculate the route);
- Information about the vehicle (make, model, body type and other data added by the user);
- Order and booking history (dates, partner names, types of services, amounts);
- Technical information:
- device model;
- operating system version;
- IP address;
- data collected via cookies and similar technologies for the website and web versions.
2.2. Data of partners (Yumo Partner)
- Contact details of the representative (name, phone number);
- Company details (legal name, registration details, address);
- Information on orders and bookings (statuses, amounts, time, popular services);
- Financial data within the platform:
- Yumo Balance balance;
- Yumo Bonus operations (issuance and deduction);
- Working schedule and open time slots for bookings;
- Information on services and offerings (list of services, descriptions, prices);
- Gallery content — photos and images uploaded by the partner to the platform;
- Data on employees added by the owner of the partner account: their names, phone numbers, positions and permissions within the enterprise account.
2.3. Data received from third-party services
For verifying partner identity and activity, we may use Veriff and receive:
- verification status;
- certain technical information related to submitted documents.
3. How we use the data
Data is used for the following purposes:
- providing access to the applications and personal accounts;
- processing orders and bookings and displaying up-to-date information on service time;
- transmitting necessary data between client and partner (type of service, vehicle information, approximate arrival time);
- sending notifications (push, SMS, Telegram bot) about order and booking status, bonuses, and important changes;
- improving the applications:
- usage analytics and statistics;
- troubleshooting and error fixing;
- measuring the effectiveness of campaigns and discounts;
- compliance with legal obligations and responding to lawful requests from public authorities.
Your data is not sold to third parties and is not provided for independent marketing activities of third parties.
4. Bank cards and payment data
In accordance with the requirements of payment systems:
- the user’s bank card data (card number, expiry date, CVV/CVC code) is not stored and not processed on the yumo.az website or within the Yumo/Yumo Partner mobile applications;
- when paying by card, payment data is transmitted directly to the payment provider over an encrypted channel;
- we may receive from the payment provider only technical and/or partially anonymized information necessary to:
- determine whether payment was successful or rejected;
- display the result of the transaction in the application (success / error / cancelled).
We do not have access to full card numbers or CVV/CVC codes, and we do not store this information.
5. Third-party services
We use a number of third-party services to operate and develop the platform:
- Sentry — error and performance monitoring for applications;
- Expo — tools for developing and updating mobile applications;
- Veriff — online identification and verification of partners;
- Firebase (Google) — services for authentication, analytics, databases and push notifications.
These services may receive limited technical and analytical data required for their functioning. We conclude agreements with such providers that require them to protect your data and use it only for the purposes defined by us.
6. Data sharing with third parties
Data may be shared with third parties in the following cases:
- with Yumo partners — in order to fulfil the order (type of service, time, necessary information about the vehicle and client);
- with payment systems — to process transactions and only in the volume necessary for this purpose;
- with public authorities — when required directly by applicable law.
Your data is not sold to third parties for independent marketing activities.
7. Data security
To ensure the security of your data:
- encryption (e.g., HTTPS) is used for data transmission;
- internal access to data is restricted to authorized employees only;
- software and infrastructure are regularly updated and subject to security checks;
- logging and monitoring are performed to timely detect suspicious activity.
8. Data retention
8.1. Data is stored only for as long as it is necessary for:
providing the Service (accounting for orders, bookings, statistics);
fulfilling legal requirements (for example, accounting and tax documentation);
protecting the rights and interests of Yumo (in case of disputes).
8.2. After the need ceases to exist, data may:
be anonymized for statistical and analytical purposes;
be archived with limited access or deleted.
8.3. You may request deletion of your account and related data by contacting [email protected]. In some cases, the law may require that certain data be stored for a defined period (for example, financial reporting records).
9. Push notifications and communication
We may use push notifications and other communication channels to inform you about:
- order and booking status (creation, change, confirmation, cancellation, expiration);
- reminders about arrival time;
- issuance and expiration dates of bonuses;
- technical failures and temporary unavailability of the Service;
- important changes in the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.
Notifications may be sent via:
- push notifications in the mobile applications;
- SMS (if applicable);
- Telegram bot;
- e-mail.
You can adjust some notification settings in the application; however, certain system notifications (for example, security-related or legally important notices) may be mandatory.
10. Rights of users and partners
You have the right to:
- request a copy of your personal data stored by Yumo;
- request correction of inaccurate or outdated data;
- request restriction of processing or deletion of data, where permitted by law;
- object to the use of your data for marketing purposes;
- withdraw your consent where processing is based on consent.

11. Children’s data
The Yumo Service is not intended for use by children. The platform may only be used by adults and authorized representatives of partner enterprises.
12. International data transfers
Currently, data processing is mainly carried out within the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the infrastructure of the services we use (e.g., Firebase). If data needs to be transferred to other countries, we strive to ensure an adequate level of protection, comparable to the requirements of local legislation.
13. Amendments to the Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect:
- changes in the Service functionality;
- new legal requirements;
- requirements from payment systems and partners.
In case of significant changes, users will be notified via the application and/or the website. By continuing to use the Service after such updates, you agree to the new version of the Privacy Policy.
